Click Action Types

Available Click Actions depend on the portlet type and license.

Type	Icon	Description
Analysis		Displays an analysis portlet. For more information, see: About Analysis Click Actions and About Analysis Portlets
Create Table Row		Adds a row to a table. For more information, see: About Create Table Row Click Actions
CrossLink		Links a portlet instance to other portlets on a page via a parent dimension or QuickView. For more information, see: About CrossLink Click Actions NOTE: If you want to link to an analysis portlet, use the analysis click action.
Delete Document		Deletes a document from the document library. For more information, see: About Delete Document Click Actions
Delete Table Row		Removes a specified row from a table. For more information, see: About Delete Table Row Click Actions
DiveTab		Starts the DiveTab application. For more information, see: About DiveTab Click Actions
DownLink		Opens a marker using selected values from the portlet instance. For more information, see: About DownLink Click Actions
DownLink and Maximize		Opens a marker with selected values, and fills the entire browser display. For more information, see: About DownLink Click Actions
Edit Document Data		Updates the metadata associated with a specified document; works with forms. For more information, see: About Edit Document Data Click Actions
Edit Table Row		Updates the content of a specified table row. For more information, see: About Edit Table Row Click Actions
Excel		Opens Microsoft Excel, and exports the current data to the spreadsheet. For more information, see: About the Export to Excel Click Action
Help		Displays a small text box containing Help text. For more information, see: About Help Click Actions
Info		Displays a small text box containing user-generated Help text. For more information, see: About Info Click Actions
Multi-Select CrossLink		Updates a linked portlet with multiple selected values. For more information, see: About Multi-Select CrossLink Click Actions
Multi-Select Portal Page		Opens another DivePort page which shows only data from rows that are selected on the originating portlet. For more information, see About Multi-Select Portal Page Click Actions.
NetDiver		Exports the contents of a specified marker to NetDiver, which is typically opened in a new browser tab. For more information, see: About NetDiver Click Actions
PDF		Starts Adobe Reader with a PDF view of the current portlet instance. For more information, see: About PDF Click Actions
Pop-up		Displays a hidden portlet in the middle of the page. No data is shared between the portlets. For more information, see: About Pop-up Click Actions
Pop-up CrossLink		Links a portlet instance to another on the page. NOTE: The target portlet is hidden until the click action is selected. For more information, see: About Pop-up CrossLink Click Actions
Portal Page		Displays a different page using the values from the selected QuickViews, parent dimensions, and row. For more information, see: About Portal Page Click Actions
Previous Page		Returns to the last page viewed. For more information, see: About Previous Page Click Actions
ProDiver		Exports the contents of a marker to ProDiver, which opens on a Microsoft Windows client system. For more information, see: About ProDiver Click Actions
Run DI-Production Script		Runs a Production script in the background. For more information, see: About Production Scripts
SVG		Downloads an SVG file view of the current portlet instance. For more information, see: About PDF Click Actions
Upload Document		Uploads a copy of a document to the document library on the server. For more information, see: About Upload Document Click Actions
View Document		Retrieves and displays a specified document from the document library. For more information, see: About View Document Click Actions
Web Page		Opens a new browser tab to the specified URL or designated DivePort page. For more information, see: About Web Page Click Actions
